We work with industry professionals to ensure the Automotive Marketing and Management program delivers innovative learning experiences. Our program is taught by faculty who come from the automotive industry, with guest speakers attending lectures almost every week.

The National Independent Automotive Dealers Association offers annual scholarships to those seeking to complete their degree in automotive.
Each regional winner will be awarded $2500. Winners will be recognized at NIADA’s Annual Convention and Expo in June 2025, and scholarship funds will be paid to the designated college in Fall 2025.
The Automotive Hall of Fame offers scholarships to incoming freshmen and upper-level undergraduate students. All of the scholarships are based on financial needs and with the usual minimum GPA requirement of 3.0.
The application must be postmarked on or before June 30 of the current year to be eligible.

At Northwood University, we offer numerous opportunities for our students to get involved in their program. Automotive students have the chance to participate in a variety of real-world experiences and can travel the country to attend events.
An annual event at Northwood University, raising substantial scholarship funds and uniting alumni in Midland, Michigan through a sellout crowd, live auction, and live entertainment.
NADA
Northwood University Automotive students are given the opportunity to engage with real time business leaders at the annual NADA Conference. Over the course of the week, students have a chance to meet and honor Northwood alumni that have made an impact within the automotive industry.
Outstanding Business Leaders
The Outstanding Business Leader Executive Committee plays an integral role in the preparation of the future business leaders of a global, free-enterprise society by providing inspiration, mentorship and scholarship to Northwood University students.
Dealership Simulation Sponsored by Ally
Over the course of this mandatory program, students take on a struggling simulated dealership and try to bring it out on top. Through the help on financial documents, team collaboration and classroom knowledge, students run the dealership to make a profit.
The AAPEX Show is an automotive aftermarket industry show co-owned by the Autocare Association and the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association and is held each year in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The SEMA Show is the premier industry trade show for automotive specialty equipment manufacturers to display alongside automotive manufacturers to debut new, innovative products, and connect individuals and companies from all over the world.
